This combination naturally led me to the world of CAT, where I could inspire young minds to engage critically and creatively with digital tools.
I began teaching CAT at a public high school in Gauteng. Over the years, I’ve taught learners from Grade 10 through to Grade 12, preparing them not only for their NSC exams, but for real-world digital literacy and workplace readiness.
In my classroom, CAT is more than just a subject. I emphasize practical skills like Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentations, and Internet Research, while also developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. I integrate project-based learning, real-world scenarios, and emerging technologies to make lessons relevant and engaging.
I have helped students consistently achieve 100% matric pass rates in CAT over several consecutive years. I am passionate about bridging the digital divide, especially in under-resourced schools, and believe that access to technology and digital skills is essential for equity in education.
My goal is to continue empowering learners to thrive in a digital world, not only as users of technology but as ethical, informed digital citizens who are prepared for the future of work and lifelong learning.
I am looking forward to supporting your academic journey.
