I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with a strong foundation in educational theory and practical teaching experience across various school environments. Although newly qualified, I bring fresh, modern teaching approaches along with patience and commitment to supporting learner success. I have gained experience in four different schools during my studies and was appointed as a class representative, demonstrating leadership and responsibility.

I have one year of teaching experience at Newholme Primary School, where I taught Grade 7 Natural Sciences and assisted with English and EMS. I am experienced in using the SASAMS database to track learner performance and manage enrolments. I have also supported school development through managing social media content. Previously, I worked as a Grade R teacher at Greytown Junior School and coached hockey and netball. I was an Education Assistant at Deccan Road Primary School, teaching Mathematics, Life Orientation, Physical Education, Art, and assisting with Afrikaans. I am now in a substitute position where I will be teaching Afrikaans, Life Orientation and Geography.

I specialise in tutoring English, Mathematics, Life Orientation, Afrikaans, Creative Arts, Social Sciences, and EMS. I am committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and learner-centred environment that accommodates diverse learning needs. Throughout my three years of study, I consistently achieved Top Academic Achiever status with an average above 75%.

In addition to my academic qualifications, I am skilled in integrating technology into learning. I hold an Apple Teacher Certification and am proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platforms. I have also completed a Coding and Robotics course using Swift Playgrounds through iStore Education, allowing me to support learners with digital skills development.
